From 8–10 June 2026, the International Conference of Weighing (ICW), hosted by JMIF, will take place in Kitakyushu, Japan, featuring a panel discussion on Quality Infrastructure on 10 June.

As supply chains and regulatory frameworks become increasingly interconnected, quality infrastructure ensures trust across markets—through standardisation, metrology, accreditation, and certification, enabling reliable and internationally recognised results.

Moderation:
Dr. Bobjoseph Mathew, OIML President and Vice-Director of METAS

Speakers:
Azusa Nakagawa-Inoue, ISO (CASCO)
Koichiro Nakamura, JET
Katharina Gierschke, BMWE
Guilian Couvreur, METAS

Join us to discuss how quality infrastructure supports market access and global cooperation in the weighing sector and beyond.
